Are you receiving quality health care?

Many consumers miss out on getting high quality health care because they don't know how to find quality care or how to ask for it. In 2007 the Dallas-Fort Worth Business Group on Health (DFWBGH) launched an initiative called the Partnership for Peak Healthcare Performance (PPHP) to improve the quality of health care for chronic conditions, such as diabetes, in the DFW Metroplex. However, it's not enough to work only with physicians on improving care processes. Consumers and patients must also do their part by knowing what quality care looks like and demanding high quality care when needed.
