Employers - Worksite programs

The Partnership for Peak Healthcare Peformance (PPHP) conducted a 2008 survey of area employees. This Consumer Awareness Survey uncovered a need for increased awareness and accountability for personal health on the part of employees. Research by the American Institutes of Research (AIR) obtained similar results. Worksite employee education programs are one way to address this need. Following are two excellent resources available to DFW employers.

Road Trip! Destination: Peak Performance — a new program developed by the Partnership for Peak Healthcare Performance (PPHP) specifically for DFWBGH members. "Road Trip!" incorporates selected materials from AIR's Communication Toolkit. It will be piloted second quarter 2009, and made available for DFWBGH members in fall 2009.

Communication Toolkit: Using Information to Get High Quality Care — was developed by the American Institutes for Research (AIR) based on research funded by The California HealthCare Foundation (CHCF). The toolkit, made available through the National Business Group on Health, helps employers frame and deliver messages to employees about the meaning and importance of getting evidence-based health care.
