Physicians - DFW best practices

Treatment of diabetes is complex. Of course, every physician and physician's office staff works toward delivering quality care every day. But how do you get the non-compliant diabetes patient to do what he's supposed to do? How can you be sure important diabetes tests and procedures are not overlooked when your patient is also being treated by physicians or health care professionals outside your practice? Are office procedures adequate to alert you when a diabetes patient needs follow up?

Everyone can use a good idea – give us yours!
The best place to get diabetes quality care improvement ideas is from physicians successfully using them in their own practices.
Periodically, this Web site will post best practices in diabetes care from our local DFW physicians under Physician Forum.
Share your best practice
